FUNDRAISING PROGRAMS
Do you shop on-line with Amazon.com? They support non-profits with their AmazonSmile program. After accessing the site, enter Blind Sports Organization. This site offers the same things as the Amazon site, but a percentage of your total purchase will be donated to BSO.
Do you shop on-line? Over 200 on-line stores will donate to BSO if you shop through this site and designate Blind Sports Organization.
Do you search the internet? An easy, free way that you, friends, and a group can support BSO is to do web searches using www.goodsearch.com, which is powered by Yahoo! Every time you search a donation is made to Blind Sports Organization (if you select it). If 500 people conducted 2 searches per day per year, BSO would earn a very needed $3,500. Please spread the word.

SUPPORT BSO PROGRAMS
The financial support of our programs by participants, families, & friends is essential. Our athletes cannot raise enough funds alone and they need a lot of support. Please ask family, friends, neighbors, civic clubs, and businesses to help. The support programs listed below have been the mainstay of our youth and adult activities, equipment purchases, scholarships, and travel expenses. A lot of help is needed to be able to provide opportunities, expand programs, and keep up with rising costs.
Direct Donations & Sponsorships
These are the easiest and best way to support BSO. BSO accepts monetary gifts and gifts-in-kind. All are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You can even direct your gift for a specific purpose (i.e. sport, chapter, team, athlete, scholarship, uniforms, etc.). Please make checks payable to BSO and send to: P.O. We need ice hockey padded shorts & ski goggles. Also, frequent flyer miles, new or gently used chest protectors, gym bags, uniforms, knee & elbow pads, concussion prevention helmets, & copy paper.
Chapter Fundraisers & Special Activities
Each chapter and sports team tries to raise their own funds, but they can’t do it alone. Can you help?
Do you have any fundraising ideas? Do you know a group that will help raise needed program, equipment, or scholarship funds? Will your Girl Scout Troop donate a portion of their cookie sales, or hold a bake sale. Will your Boy Scout Troop do a car wash, or collect coins from area fountains and clean them?
